About the Event
In this 90 minute workshop you will get detailed instruction on how to grow and care for ranunculus, which are special flowers grown from corms (like bulbs/roots).
This workshop covers timelines specifically for our Utah climate, how and when to pre-sprout ranunculus (the easiest method- NO greenhouse necessary, just a shelf and some $10 shop lights which we will have available for purchase if you need).
We cover in detail how to care for them as they grow for maximum production on a home-garden scale or small farm scale.
***You’ll also leave with 20 corms of your own that you'll plant in a tray during the workshop— already started, and ready for you to enjoy at home!*** (colors are pinks and white)
(Additional favorite cold hardy cut flower seeds will be available exclusively for purchase for workshop attendees!)

Of note:
these workshops are non-refundable due to our reserved seating capacity and planning required, but are transferrable to a friend should you not be able to make it.
we are a working farm, not a venue, and do not have restrooms on-site. Please plan accordingly before your visit with us
these workshops are held in our historic 100 year old barn. We have small heaters running but it is colder than room temperature (think garage), please wear warm layers to stay comfortable and of course closed-toe shoes.
